As Amazon announce its first bricks and mortar bookstore in the US, the retail giant has much to answer for this side of the Atlantic, having exploded Black Friday onto our screens and streets five years ago. UK sales on the 27th November are predicted to exceed £1bn, so we’re saving our pennies until then with some innocent fun – you know, like burning Guy Fawkes at the stake.
