Our two new spaces at Emirates Stadium have opened!
Our two new spaces at Emirates Stadium opened on Saturday, in time for the first home match of the season.
These hospitality spaces celebrate the rich heritage of Arsenal F.C. and deliver on Arsenal’s commitment to increasing capacity for fans at home.
Emirates Stadium has undergone a major transformation, and is now able to host 60,600 fans every matchday thanks to an extension at Club Level.
The Avenell Club
The Avenell Club is a luxury lounge taking its name from the road leading to Arsenal F.C’s former home, Highbury Stadium.
It’s an informal, yet superior match day experience where guests are greeted on arrival and invited to help themselves to seasonal produce and a variety of drinks as well as a self-service coffee machine.
Boasting panoramic views of the pitch, guests can choose different settings to dine – from high perch seats and banquettes to more laid-back furniture in the lounges.
The Avenell Club is designed to build anticipation for the game ahead. The material patterns and tones as well as directional tiles and details all lean towards the action on the pitch.
Theatrical lighting has been installed on either side of a feature bar, so fans can’t help but feel engaged with the countdown to kick off.
A home from home for its members with personalised brass coat hooks, the Avenell Club is a truly immersive hospitality experience.
Highbury is a nod to the past with eyes on the future. The reimagined space on Club Level takes inspiration from the art-deco styling of the beloved Highbury Stadium.
Nostalgia is created through eye-catching design elements including bespoke posters and iconic typography. The use of red timber panelling showcases iconic Highbury moments and takes inspiration from the framework of the old East and West stands.
Replica Marble Hall gates from Avenell Road hang from the ceiling, adorned with 93 lights to represent the number of years Arsenal called Highbury home. Thirteen of these shine a little brighter than the others to celebrate Arsenal’s League title wins. A cannon on the floor is another key feature that loyal fans will recognise from Highbury Stadium.
Like Dial Square, Highbury is a social experience that encourages friends and families to gather before, during and after the match. The street food style offering has a variety for fans to choose from, including mac and cheese and a famous Highbury Burger.
Highbury Stadium was such a special place for so many. It was important that we reference it with a modern twist at Emirates Stadium to create a space with a distinct identity which today’s fans can relish and share.
Here are a few pictures from the team.
