Scotiabank Arena has officially opened its doors to the city of Toronto

On 3rd October 2018, the ScotiaClub opened as part of the Scotiabank Arena renovation. We are thrilled to be part of this transformation.

In August 2017, Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment agreed an $800m 20-year sponsorship agreement with Scotiabank. This led to a dynamic rebrand of the Air Canada Centre to the Scotiabank Arena on July 1st 2018.

Scotiabank Arena is Canada’s premier sports and entertainment venue. As well as hosting some of entertainment’s top names with Live Nation, Scotiabank Arena is home to world-class ice hockey and basketball franchises with the NHL’s Toronto Maple Leafs and NBA’s Toronto Raptors.

MLSE and Scotiabank engaged 20.20 to help them realise a new era for this iconic venue. The first project to go live is the reimagination of the arena’s VIP experience.

20.20 designed a flagship space for Scotiabank at their new home venue. ScotiaClub is a 4+ star space with laid-back premium dining, stylish loge suites and fan-focused details throughout. Storytelling in the space celebrates Leafs, Raptors and Scotiabank moments which have set pulses racing in the venue past and present.

Premium level fans also have the opportunity to experience an exclusive concourse known as The ScotiaClub Gallery. Overlooking the buzz of the arena fan thoroughfares, guests here have access to VIP facilities without straying too far from the action.

Furthermore, as part of the VIP journey, we redesigned the VIP entrances for Premium members and main GA gates.

These changes are all part of Phase One of the Scotiabank Arena upgrade. We can’t wait to reveal what Phase Two has in store.
