Highbury is a lively hospitality space in Club Level at the Emirates Stadium that stands as a proud testament to The Gunners’ former home. With a street-food inspired menu and large social spaces to host fans before and after the match, Highbury needed thoughtful design and meticulous operational planning – but as always, a key part of our brief was making sure the space would also resonate powerfully with fans.
We referenced architectural details from Highbury Stadium to bring the space to life, from the coving to the façade, a terrazzo cannon floor feature and the original Marble Halls entrance, which now hangs suspended in time as a ceiling light raft. Geometric lines from Arsenal’s original crest served as inspiration for screens that zone the space and create more sheltered spots for pre-match conversation.
We created bespoke branding for new street food outlets at ‘Highbury Market’ and graphics to celebrate famous firsts and lasts at Arsenal’s original stadium, which fans, coaches, players and managers called home for 93 years. The concept gives Highbury a respectful presence as a cherished part of our heritage and our ongoing story at Emirates Stadium today.
